Tapestry

This series is inspired by woven textiles that tell a story. All of the pieces are made of canvas (cotton duck)  that has been fringed to look like a rug or a tapestry. The stories all focus on eternal renewal: the cycle of life, death, and re-birth. I've always been interested in reincarnation and these works are my way of exploring this concept and seeing death from a different point of view.
